Moon Township, Pa. – Ten days will have passed between the
Robert Morris University men's lacrosse team's last game and their Tuesday evening non-conference finale at Canisius College on April 19 at 7 p.m. at Demske Sports Complex.
The Colonials (4-7, 2-2 NEC) hope to enter the last two weeks of Northeast Conference action riding the momentum of a non-conference victory over the Golden Griffins (3-6, 2-3 MAAC), who have dropped four of their last five, including two losses last week.
Robert Morris versus Canisius
Despite trailing in the all-time series with the Golden Griffins, 3-5, the Colonials have won the last three meetings with the MAAC squad. The last time the two programs faced one another was in March of 2012.

Tuesday's contest at Canisius marks RMU's first and only night game of the season.

Luke Laszkiewicz is putting together an impressive senior campaign. He has now scored 30 goals or more in his last two seasons and has recorded a career-high 12 assists and 45 points in 2016 with three regular-season games remaining. Laszkiewicz leads the NEC in goals (33) and goals per game (3.00) and ranks sixth in the nation in goals per game.

Luke Laszkiewicz is steadily climbing a number of RMU individual career record lists. He is four points shy of surpassing Patrick Smith and taking fourth place on the all-time points list (105g-37a-142p) and 11 goals away from tying Corbyn TaoBrambleby for second place on the all-time goals list. Additionally, he is four special teams goals away from setting a new all-time career record in man-up goals (17). With two more starts, he will set a new record for games started (53).

Alex Heger ranks second in the NEC in save percentage (.552) and goals against average (9.16).
