Moon Township, Pa. – The
Robert Morris University men's lacrosse team will compete in its next two games on the road, and opens the trip against Northeast Conference opponent Hobart on Saturday, April 9 at noon at Boswell Field in Geneva, N.Y.
With four regular-season games remaining, including three against NEC foes, the Colonials (4-6, 2-1) look to regain momentum on the road after falling to Bryant at home, 13-12, last weekend. The Statesmen (5-5, 1-1) are coming off a 13-6 loss to a top-10 ranked Syracuse squad.
Robert Morris versus HobartThe Colonials are 2-4 all-time against the Statesmen. RMU won back-to-back matchups with Hobart in 2012 and 2013, but dropped the two most recent meetings, including a 7-6 overtime decision last season at Joe Walton Stadium.
Shots FiredRobert Morris racked up a season-high 51 shots in a tough, one-goal loss to Bryant last weekend.

Luke Laszkiewicz is putting together an impressive senior campaign. He has now scored 30 goals or more in his last two seasons and has recorded a season-high 11 assists and 42 points in 2016 with four regular-season games remaining. Laszkiewicz leads the NEC in goals (31) and goals per game (3.10) and ranks sixth in the nation in goals per game.
Making An ImpactIn his first season of Division I collegiate lacrosse, freshman goalkeeper
Alex Heger leads the NEC in save percentage (.589) and ranks second in goals against average (7.92).
