Pittsburgh, Pa. - Robert Morris University men's hockey will end the first half of the season with a home-and-home series against the Lakers. The Colonials look to snap a four-game skid, hosting I-79 rival Mercyhurst on Saturday before traveling to Erie, Pa. on Sunday, seeking four points in the Atlantic Hockey conference standings.

Brady Ferguson each scored for RMU in the 5-2 loss on Friday, and both added their second goals of the weekend in Saturday's game.
Spencer Dorowicz scored a pair in Saturday's game as well.

Brady Ferguson is tied for the Atlantic Hockey lead in power play goals with 5, chipping in 4 assists on the power play as well. Ferguson has been a star on special teams, scoring two shorthanded goals, one in the last game at Penn State.

CHASING HISTORY
Ferguson is presently fifth all-time in scoring at RMU with 134 career points, needing just four points to move into third all-time. The senior from Carrollton, Texas is two points shy of tying Chris Margott (4th) and three from tying Nathan Longpre (3rd). 2016 graduate Zac Lynch is first with 156 points, while 2015 alum Cody Wydo is second with 150.

Spencer Dorowicz has set a single-season career-high in goals, with 8 goals & 5 assists for 13 points thus far. Dorowicz has been one of the Colonials more consistent forwards & has three game-winning goals.

Alex Bontje is second in Atlantic Hockey with 39 blocked shots at a rate of 2.29 blocks per game (T-12th in NCAA). Junior defenseman
Eric Israel is tied for third in the AHC with 34 blocks at 2.00 blocks per game. Bontje tallied his first two points of the season last weekend vs. Penn State with an assist in each game.

Francis Marotte recorded his fourth career shutout in RMU's 4-0 win over AIC on Nov. 18, putting him in sole possession of fourth all-time at RMU. The all-time record is eight, held by 2016 graduate Terry Shafer. (2nd Dalton Izyk, 6; 3rd Eric Levine, 5)
