Robert Morris University men's lacrosse team wraps up the road portion of the regular-season schedule in Rhode Island, when the Colonials travel to Bryant on Saturday, Apr. 22 for a 1 p.m. matchup with the Bulldogs.
The Colonials (9-4, 4-0 NEC) turned the page on non-conference action Tuesday night under the lights of Joe Walton Stadium with a 12-7 win over Canisius to secure the first winning record out of conference for Robert Morris since 2012. Sophomore midfield
Tyson Gibson led the way with a career-high six-point performance, and set career marks in goals (two) and assists (four) in the process. The Bulldogs (7-6, 3-2 NEC) suffered their second conference loss of the season against reigning NEC Champion Hobart, 13-6, last Saturday.

Bryant enters this weekend's conference matchup following a 13-6 loss to reigning NEC Champion Hobart. Saturday is Senior Day for the Bulldogs, and a win would lock up a spot for Bryant in the 2017 NEC Tournament. Senior captain Tucker James paces the league in points per game (3.92) and assists per game (1.69) and ranks second in the NEC in goals per game (2.23). Junior Kenny Massa sits atop the conference in the faceoff X at a .587 clip (152-259) and leads the NEC in ground balls per game (6.69). Junior goalkeeper James Werner paces the conference in goals against average (8.12) and ranks third in save percentage (.557).

Ryan Smith were named NEC Player of the Week and NEC Rookie of the Week, respectively, for their career performances in RMU's 17-6 win against Wagner. Smith assisted on five of Schmidt's career-best six goals.

th in the nation and second in the NEC in shot percentage (.429). Smith has posted a point in nine of 12 games played, including five of the last six outings. He ranks third on the team in goals (18), tied for third in assists (7) and fourth in points (25).

RMU's offensive production has been spread throughout the stat sheet across multiple players. Five different players have recorded 20 points or more this season. In total, 21 different Colonials have found the back of the net at least once in 2017.
