Head Coach Katy Phillips' mother, Marian Phillips, was diagnosed with Huntington's Disease late in life and after battling for years, she passed away. The family was unaware that this neurological disease existed in the family line, and was shocked by the diagnosis. Coach Phillips spends much of her time working to not only raise funds for the cause, but educate people on this disease.

"Huntington's Disease is a cause that affects my family and I am always humbled by the outpouring of support from our team and their families as well as the hundreds of players and their families that participate," says Phillips.

The two-day event begins Saturday, Oct. 21 with a Youth/Middle School challenge and Sunday, Oct. 22 features a High School/Club challenge.
