- The Robert Morris University men's basketball team, winners of three consecutive games, concludes a two-game road trip against Purdue in a 2:00 p.m. tip at Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Ind.
 
- The Colonials earned their third straight victory with their first road win of the 2018-19 campaign @ Stetson (11/19/18). RMU fell behind in the first half, 28-20, before charging back to take the lead at halftime, 38-36, en route to an 81-72 victory to close out play in the 2018 National College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic. RMU finished with a record of 2-2 (.500) in the tournament.
 
- Senior guard Josh Williams led four players in double figures in the triumph over the Hatters with 18 points. He shot 6-for-10 from the floor, including 5-for-9 from beyond the arc.
 
- Senior forward Malik Petteway chipped in 17 points off the bench in the victory @ Stetson (11/19/18), while sophomore forward Koby Thomas contributed 16 points and a game-high seven rebounds. Senior guard Matty McConnell added 12 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals.
 
- In the early portion of the 2018-19 campaign, the Colonials enter Friday's game @ Purdue leading the Northeast Conference in free-throw percentage (.763), assists (17.00 per game), assist-to-turnover ratio (1.20) and three-point field goal percentage defense (.279).
 
- RMU closed out a two-game homestand with a 68-59 victory over Mississippi Valley State (11/17/18) as part of the 2018 National College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic. Senior forward Malik Petteway came off the bench to record his fourth career double-double thanks to a career-high 26 points and 11 rebounds.
 
- Sophomore forward Koby Thomas contributed 10 points, six rebounds and two blocks in the win over the Delta Devils, while senior guard Josh Williams finished with 13 points, tied a career-high with six rebounds and dished out two assists.
 
-  The Colonials opened their 2018-19 home slate with their first home game at the North Athletic Complex with a 104-57 victory over Mount Aloysius (11/14/18). Senior guard Josh Williams, in his first home game in an RMU uniform, established single-game records for points (49), three-point field goals (15) and three-point field goal attempts (25). He also tied the Robert Morris single-game record for field goals (16) and field goal attempts (26).
 
- Senior guard Josh Williams also tied an NCAA single-game record with 15 three-pointers in the win over the Mounties. The record was originally established Dec. 14, 1996, when Keith Veney of Marshall also went 15-for-25 from beyond the arc en route to a 51-point performance in a 115-93 win over Morehead State.

Stetson Tidbits - Robert Morris notched its first win in four games in the all-time series with the victory over the Hatters ... The Colonials shot a season-high 54.2 percent (26-for-48) from the field ... RMU forced Stetson into 17 turnovers, turning those miscues into a 25-19 advantage in points off turnovers ... Freshman guard Cameron Wilbon scored four points and grabbed four rebounds in 15 minutes off the bench, hitting both his shots from the floor while grabbing two offensive caroms ... Since going 5-for-30 (16.7%) from beyond the arc in its season opener @ USC (11/6/18), Robert Morris is 49-for-122 (40.1%) from beyond the arc in its last four games after going 10-for-22 in the win @ Stetson.
 
Forward Power - Senior forward Malik Petteway paced the Colonials during their four games in the 2018 National Basketball Hall of Fame Classic, averaging 13.5 points while shooting 73.3 percent (22-for-30) from the field and 90.9 percent (10-for-11) at the free-throw line. Petteway enters Friday's game @ Purdue ranked second in the Northeast Conference in field goal percentage (.706) and fifth in free-throw percentage (.882).
 
The Senior - Matty McConnell enters Friday's game @ Purdue as RMU's active leader in games played (99), starts (90), points (819), assists (230) and steals (189). He will become the 47th player in RMU's NCAA Division I history to appear in 100 games Friday against the Boilermakers and will move into sole possession of 11th place all-time for career starts with his 91st. Over the last two seasons, Robert Morris owns a record of 15-5 (.750) when McConnell finishes in double figures scoring after contributing 12 points in an 81-72 victory @ Stetson (11/19/18).
 
Did You Know? In nine seasons under head coach Andrew Toole, Robert Morris has compiled a record of 92-35 (.724) when scoring at least 70 points in a game. Included in that record is a mark of 36-5 (.878) when eclipsing the 80-point plateau.
 
A Good Combo - The three-point arc has developed into an area of interest again for Robert Morris in 2018-19. On the offensive side, the Colonials knocked down 10 three-pointers in an 81-72 victory @ Stetson (11/19/18), improving to 43-12 (.782) in nine seasons under head coach Andrew Toole when connecting for at least 10 triples in a game. RMU enters Friday's game @ Purdue leading the Northeast Conference in three-point field goals made per game at 10.80. Individually, senior guard Josh Williams is tops in the circuit with an average of 5.60 three-pointers made per contest. On the defensive side, Robert Morris is holding opponents to a success rate of just 27.9 percent (24-for-86), a number that also is tops in the NEC.
 
The Leader - RMU head coach Andrew Toole picked up career victory No. 150 thanks to a 60-56 win @ Mount St. Mary's (2/28/18) in the quarterfinals of the 2018 Northeast Conference Tournament. Toole is in his ninth season at the helm leading the Colonials in 2018-19 and has posted an overall record of 153-125 (.550), including a mark of 91-51 (.641) against league foes. Toole is just five victories shy of becoming the all-time leader for coaching wins at Robert Morris. Former head coach Jarrett Durham posted an overall record of 157-183 (.462) from 1984 to 1996.
