Moon Township, Pa. – The 
Robert Morris University rowing team continued its 2018 spring season Saturday by competing in the Duquesne Invitational, held on Lake Arthur at Moraine State Park in Portersville, Pa.
The RMU Varsity 8 ran a pair of races, posting times of 7:25.3 and 7:29.73, respectively. Sophomore 
Kestra Harris served as the coxswain, and she was joined in the boat by junior 
Hannah Daman, freshman 
Molly McGuire, senior 
Melissa Asaro, juniors 
Grace Faye and 
Miriam Levenson, freshman 
Madelyn Green, sophomore 
Elizabeth Cottrell and senior 
Lindsay Feltz.
The RMU Second Varsity 8 featured sophomore 
Brittany Bell as the coxswain, and the Colonials posted a time of 8:02.56 to claim silver. Making up the boat along with Bell was freshmen

Alison Ishman and 
Nicole Kristof, junior 
Alyssa VanAuken, freshman 
Mia Krolczyk, 
Taylor Boczar and 
Emma McIntosh and sophomore

In Varsity 4 action, the Colonials placed third with a time of 8:53.16. Junior 
Sarah Heastings was the coxswain in a boat that also featured junior 
Kathryn Gossel, sophomore 
Sophie Carroll and rookies 
Katy Cooke and 
Satalia Rickman.
In novice action, both the Novice 8 and Novice 4 finished second. The Novice 8 recorded a time of 7:46.98, while the Novice 4 crossed the finish line in 8:42.94.
The Novice 8 featured freshman 
Emily Kastroll as the coxswain, and she was joined by Gress, Ishman, Kristof, Trapp, Krolczyk, freshman 
Francesca Barchetti, McIntosh and junior 
Emma Smith. Trapp, Barchetti and Smith also were part of the Novice 4 boat that also included freshman 
Katelyn DeAgro as the coxswain and freshman 
Natasha Wood.
Robert Morris continues its spring campaign Saturday, April 28, by taking part in the Black Rock Cup in Buffalo, N.Y.
