Colonials Open NEC Play at Bryant

Robert Morris opens Northeast Conference play on Saturday, Sept. 22, when it travels to Smithfield, R.I., for a 1:00 p.m. game on ESPN3 against the Bryant Bulldogs at Beirne Stadium Complex. The Colonials sit 1-2 overall while the Bulldogs stand 2-1 through three weeks. RMU has not won at Beirne Complex in five tries.

Clark Makes Coaching Debut
> Bernard Clark Jr. makes his head coaching debut in 2018
> He served as the associate head coach and defensive coordinator at UAlbany for four years
> Won two national championships with Miami, including the 1988 Orange Bowl MVP

Dr. Howard In College Football
> RMU President Dr. Chris Howard is serving a three-year term on the College Football Playoff (CFP) selection committee
> He is also on the planning committee to commemorate the 150th birthday of college football

> He won the NFF Campbell Trophy, the highest academic award for a football player
