Robert Morris University men's basketball team concludes a four-game trip away from home with a two-game swing through the Midwest, beginning Thursday with an 8:00 p.m. ET tip against UIC at Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago, Ill. The Colonials conclude their trip Saturday, Nov. 23, @ Marquette.

Josh Williams each scored 14 points to lead five Colonials in double figures in the win over Howard. The duo combined to shoot 80 percent (12-for-15) from the field. Mendy also paced RMU in the victory with six rebounds.

- RMU opened Peoples Court at the UPMC Events Center in front of a sold out crowd of 4,034, with a 71-57 loss to Pitt (11/12/19). The Colonials fells behind, 7-0, before an 18-0 run gave Robert Morris its biggest lead of the contest.

AJ Bramah notched his second career double-double @ Toledo (11/16/19), finishing with 10 points and a career-high 16 rebounds. The 16 caroms are the most by an RMU student-athlete in almost 15 years. Former forward A.J. Jackson (2003-08) finished with 19 points and 16 boards in a 97-85 win over Charleston Southern (12/17/05) at the Charles L. Sewall Center. In addition, Bramah's 16 rebounds tied an RMU single-game record for caroms in a road game. Former forward Earl Cureton (1976-77) posted 16 rebounds in a 66-64 overtime loss @ Howard (12/14/76) in RMU's seventh NCAA Division I contest in program history. Bramah enters Thursday's game @ UIC ranked sixth in the Northeast Conference in rebounding (8.2 per game).

In The Paint - Senior forward
Yannis Mendy enters Thursday's game @ UIC ranked leading the Northeast Conference in field goal percentage (.650). Through five games, Mendy has converted 26 of his 40 attempts from the field in averaging 10.4 points per contest. Twice in the first five games of the 2019-20 campaign has Mendy tied a career high for points (14), turning the trick in the season opener @ Marshall (11/7/19) and again in an 85-65 victory over Howard (11/15/19). In two seasons at Robert Morris, Mendy owns a career field goal percentage of 58.6 percent (106-for-181). The school record of .568 is held by former forward Gabe Jackson (1992-95).

Distributing - Redshirt senior guard
Josh Williams certainly has the ability to score the basketball, but in the early portion of the 2019-20 season, he's proving a capable distributor. Through five games, Williams owns 16 assists against just three turnovers, an assist-to-turnover ratio of 5.33 that leads the Northeast Conference. Williams enters Thursday's game @ UIC having dished out 14 assists without suffering a turnover. He hasn't suffered a miscue since the 15:12 mark of the first half @ Notre Dame (11/9/19). As a team, Robert Morris is atop the NEC leaderboard for assist-to-turnover ratio (1.29).

Andrew Toole when finishing with at least 40 rebounds in a game. The Colonials had won nine consecutive games when recording at least 40 caroms dating to the 2017-18 season before a 70-56 loss @ Toledo (11/16/19). RMU outrebounded the Rockets, 42-41.

Start Me Up - Junior guard
Jon Williams owns RMU's active streaks for games played and starts, both of which are at 73 games entering Thursday's game @ UIC. Williams became just the seventh student-athlete in program history to start at least 70 consecutive games when he was a member of the starting five @ Notre Dame (11/9/19), joining former guards Velton Jones (2008-13) and Coron Williams (2009-13). Sitting in fourth for consecutive starting assignments is former forward Chaz McCrommon (2000-05), who started the final 85 games of his career. Across NCAA Division I entering, the 73 consecutive starts ranks third in the junior class, trailing Taveion Hollingsworth of Western Kentucky (76) and Matt Coleman III from Texas (76).
