Moon Township, Pa. – The
Robert Morris University track & field completed its 2019 outdoor campaign this weekend by taking part in the ECAC Championships in Princeton, N.J.
Sophomore
Estelle Katende competed in a pair of events Sunday, finishing 17th in the discus and 24th in the shot put. In the discus, she posted a throw of 36.47 meters (119'8") on her second throw of the competition. In the shot put, Katende unleashed a heave of 12.34 meters (40'6").
Also in the throws, senior
Sam Buck capped an impressive career for RMU Saturday by finishing 17th in the hammer throw. She recorded a distance of 51.85 meters (170'1"), breaking her own personal record she set a week prior at the 2019 Northeast Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships in New Britain, Conn.

On the track, sophomore
Brooke Oldfin competed in the 400-meter hurdles, placing 20th out of 31 competitors with a time of 1:05.26. Oldfin also ran the anchor leg of the Robert Morris 4x400-meter relay squad that finished 11th with a time of 4:01.76.
