The All-Time Series (Florida Gulf Coast) – RMU and Florida Gulf Coast meet for just the second time Saturday, concluding a home-and-home series that originally began during the 2019-20 season. In the first meeting between the two programs, the Colonials earned a 64-59 victory in Fort Myers, Fla., at Alico Arena (12/7/19). RMU grabbed a 28-21 lead at halftime en route to the win, with former guard Josh Williams (2017-20) leading the Colonials with 16 points while adding six boards, three assists and a pair of steals.

Lancaster Bible Notes – The meeting between RMU and Lancaster Bible was the first between the two programs ... RMU shot 66.1 percent (37-for-56) from the floor against the Chargers, the second highest field goal percentage by the Colonials in 12 years under RMU Pat Gallagher Head Coach 
Andrew Toole ... RMU shot 66.2 percent (43-for-65) from the floor in a 108-51 victory over Hood (12/29/18) ... The Colonials outrebounded the Chargers, 47-22 ... LBC was led by guard Jordan Shewbridge, who scored 22 points on the strength of a 6-for-14 performance from deep.

Downtown – Sophomore guard
Kam Farris helped the Colonials garner their first win of the 2021-22 season with a 99-51 victory over Lancaster Bible (12/8/21) by pacing RMU with a career-high 27 points. Farris shot 10-for-13 from the floor, including 7-for-10 from beyond the arc. In four games since returning for the Colonials after missing the first four games of the 2021-22 season, Farris is averaging 14.3 points and has been white hot from downtown, converting 15 of his 22 attempts from beyond the arc, a success rate of 68.2 percent.

Interesting – The performance in the triumph over Lancaster Bible (12/8/21) helped sophomore
Kam Farris push his career total in three-pointers to 50. Farris owns 50 triples in 21 career games at RMU, an average of 2.38 per game, while converting at a 51 percent (50-for-98) clip from deep. The only member of the Colonials to reach 50 three-pointers faster was former guard
Josh Williams (2018-20), who reached the plateau in just 13 contests. Meanwhile, former guard Karvel Anderson (2012-14) also reached 50 trifectas in 21 games. The career school record for three-pointers is held by former guard Jeremy Chappell (2005-09) with 243.

Three's Company – RMU is 56-22 (.718) in 12 seasons under RMU Pat Gallagher Head Coach
Andrew Toole when hitting at least 10 three-pointers in a game. The Colonials knocked down a season-high 12 triples in a 99-51 win over Lancaster Bible (12/8/21) and are 1-1 (.500) this season when connecting for at least 10 three-pointers. RMU leads the Horizon League in three-point field goal percentage (.387) entering Saturday's game against FGCU while ranking sixth in three-point field goals made per game (7.25).

Crocodile Dundee – Fifth-year guard
Rasheem Dunn has settled into his role with the Colonials and has been a consistent producer for RMU over the last few weeks. Entering Saturday's game against FGCU, Dunn is averaging 14.0 points, 4.8 assists and 1.8 steals over his last five games. During that stretch Dunn has established a season high in scoring with 21 points @ Milwaukee (12/4/21) while also registering his first double-double in an RMU uniform in a 99-51 win over Lancaster Bible (12/8/21). In the win over the Chargers, Dunn scored 10 points and tied a career high with 10 assists.

Kahliel Spear picked up his second double-double of the year and third overall with the Colonials thanks to 17 points and 10 rebounds. Spear also rejected three shots in the win over the Chargers and in 26 career contests at RMU has posted 33 blocks, an average of 1.27 per contest. Spear is also the program's active leader for consecutive games played (26) and starting assignments (13).

Dunk You Very Much – Senior forward
Kahliel Spear is as active as any member of the Colonials in recent years at the rim, and you just have to look at the numbers. In addition to ranking fifth in the Horizon League entering Saturday's game against Florida Gulf Coast with an average of 1.25 blocks per game, Spear is RMU's leader on the other end of the court in dunks. In eight games, Spear has provided 13 jams, already matching his season total in 18 games last season. Spear has played 26 games at RMU and in that span owns 26 dunks.
