Moon Township, Pa. – The RMU football team announced its 2021 fall non-conference schedule Friday, which includes road games at Dayton and Central Michigan as well as a home matchup with Howard at Joe Walton Stadium.
Season tickets can be purchased by calling the RMU Ticket Office at (412) 397-4949. All season ticket orders require a $10.00 donation to the RMU Athletics General Fund. Season tickets are $40.00 for adults and $20.00 for RMU faculty and staff.
RMU will open its 28th season of NCAA Division I football Saturday, Sept. 4, against the Flyers in Dayton, Ohio, at Welcome Stadium. The longest non-conference rivalry in program history, RMU and Dayton will meet for the 23rd time in September. The Flyers won the last meeting, 34-31, at Joe Walton Stadium September 14, 2019.

The Colonials will also take on their second NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) opponent in school history after taking on Dayton by traveling to Mount Pleasant, Mich., Saturday, Sept. 11, to take on Central Michigan at Kelly/Shorts Stadium. RMU's first opponent from the NCAA FBS ranks was also a member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) when the Colonials christened their 2019 season at Buffalo (8/29).
The lone non-conference home game for RMU comes after a bye week, when the Colonials welcome Howard to Joe Walton Stadium Saturday, Sept. 25, for the first-ever meeting between the two programs. A full slate of Big South conference games will be released at a later date.
