Moon Township, Pa. – The RMU track & field team concluded the 2021 Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Championships Sunday in Youngstown, Ohio, finishing 
fifth with 57.5 points.
 
Claiming its seventh consecutive outdoor title and 13th overall was Youngstown State, which compiled 234.5 points. Rounding out the top five was Milwaukee (150), Oakland (136), Northern Kentucky (59) and the Colonials.
 
INSIDE TRACK
The third and final day of the 2021 #HLTF Outdoor Championships was moved indoors to the Watts and Tressel Training Site (WATTS) due to persistent rain that has fallen throughout the region. Outdoor events that were contested indoors are not considered championship records in the Horizon League record book.
 
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
On the track, sophomore 
Elicia Moore finished eighth in the 400-meter dash for the Colonials Sunday with a time of 58.93 seconds. In the field events, sophomore 
Lauren Chappell posted RMU's top mark in the high jump, tying for 11th at 1.54 meters (5'0.50"). In the same event, junior 
Tara Gologram posted a leap of 1.49 meters (4'10.50").
