LAST TIME OUT
The Colonials ended their three-game road test by splitting a pair of matches last week, capturing a 2-0 victory at La Roche on Tuesday before dropping a 3-0 decision at Oakland on Sunday afternoon.
At La Roche, sophomore
Kassidy Fischer paced Robert Morris with two assists as the Colonials captured another shutout. In the 44th minute, Fischer dribbled down the right sideline and placed a cross to the far-left post that saw junior
Miyu Kojima head it past the keeper for her first goal of the season. Before the end of regulation, Fischer replicated the same scenario as she placed a cross into the box that found the head of freshman
Nicola Mosionek.
STATS TO KNOW
Robert Morris continues to pace the Horizon League with 230 shots, while tallying 128 shots on goal. The Colonials are averaging over 16 shots a game and 9.14 shots goal this season. They have found the back of the net 25 times this fall and have recorded 23 assists for a total of 73 points, which is tied for first in the conference.
Freshman
Renae Mohrbacher currently sits tied for fourth in the league with 16 shots on goal as she is averaging 1.14 a game. Mohrbacher paces the team and sits in the top five of the conference with four assists this season. She has six points (4A, 1G) on the year while starting in all but one contest.
Junior
Haleigh Finale leads the Colonials with 38 shots and is tied for the team lead with three goals. Fischer tallied her first two assists of the 2022 campaign, while Kojima registered her first goal of the season. Kingston carded her second goal of the season against the Redhawks as she now has five points on the year (2G, 1A).
Redshirt senior keeper
Isabella Bohlen has carded 44 saves through 42 games this season after facing 145 shots. She's recorded a .710 save percentage while recording three shutouts this fall. Bohlen has tallied four or more saves in six contests.
SCOUTING THE RAIDERS
Wright State comes to Moon Township sitting in second place of the Horizon League with 12 points. The Raiders are coming off of a 1-1 draw against Purdue Fort Wayne last Sunday.
This will be the third meeting between these two programs as they have split the first two contests. Robert Morris captured a 2-1 victory over the Raiders last October as
Kaoru Hayashi found the back of the net in the 98th minute.
Senior Marcella Sizer paces Wright State and sits tied for first in the Horizon League with six goals this fall. She sits atop the conference with 13 points and has carded a goal in three of her last four games. Junior Lauren Borchert has tallied 22 shots on goal, while finding the back of the net four times. She sits second on the team with nine points, while sophomore Mace Olivia leads the team and sits second in the league with five assists.
Redshirt senior goalkeeper Jessika Seward has collected 52 saves while facing 179 shots. She has started in every match this season for the Raiders and is averaging just under four saves a game. Seward has posted a .684 save percentage and three shutouts during 2022.
SCOUTING THE JAGUARS
IUPUI is coming off a 3-0 shutout victory over Detroit Mercy last Sunday, where they outshot the Titans 20-8.
This will be the second meeting between these two squads as they played to a 0-0 draw last year at the North Athletic Complex. The Colonials dominated in the statistical category as they finished with a 23-13 shot advantage, including a 11-6 edge in shots on goal. RMU also held a 10-3 lead in corner kicks.
The Jaguars are led by senior Maya Lacognato who is tied for the league lead with six goals and 13 points. She has carded 30 shots this season, which is good for top 10 in the Horizon League. Junior Sam Slimak paces the conference with 42 total shots and is averaging 3.00 shots a game. Slimak has registered four shots or more in seven games this fall. Classmate Emma Antoine and freshman Emma Frey sit second on the team with three goals and an assist through 14 games.
Sophomore Ashton Kudlo is one of the top goalkeepers in the conference this season as she has surrendered only eight goals and recorded a .800 save percentage. Kudlo has posted 0.82 goals against average, while facing 96 shots this fall.
