Moon Township, Pa. – The Robert Morris University men's soccer team will celebrate Senior Day on Wednesday when it concludes the 2022 regular season by hosting IUPUI in Horizon League action.

LAST TIME OUT
The Colonials secured a point as they concluded the road portion of its 2022 regular season Saturday, playing to a scoreless draw with Green Bay at Aldo Santaga Stadium.
Robert Morris wasted no time going on the offensive, unleashing four shots in the opening 21 minutes of action in trying to score the first marker of the contest. Defensively the Colonials provided a stout opening 45 minutes, allowing just one shot, which came at the 24:29 mark and was wide left.
CELEBRATING SENIORS
Wednesday's contest will wrap up the 2022 regular season as the soccer team will honor two seniors with a pre-game ceremony before the match. The Colonials will honor the careers of Ethan Romito and Jon Faynik.
PLAYOFF PICTURE
Wednesday's match has a lot of implications as the Colonials are looking to get back to the Horizon League tournament for the second-consecutive season. RMU sits in sixth for the final spot in the 2022 #HLMSOC Championships with 11 points, one point ahead of Green Bay. Detroit Mercy and Oakland are tied for fourth with 12 points. IUPUI sits in second place in the league standings with 15 points. Green Bay, meanwhile, travels to first place Cleveland State to conclude its 2022 regular season.
INSIDE THE STAT SHEET
Heading into the final regular season contest, Robert Morris has totaled 137 shots and 48 points through 14 games. The Colonials are averaging just under 10 shots a game while tallying 15 goals this fall. RMU has recorded 18 assists, which is good for fifth in the conference.
The Colonials defense has been stout the last four games as they have allowed only two goals. RMU sits second in the league with only 17 goals allowed, while averaging 1.21 a game. Robert Morris continues to create opportunities as they pace the Horizon League with 88 corner kicks and averaging over six a game.
Robert Morris is led by a duo of juniors in Chase Gilley and Hugo Kadima. Gilley leads the team with 12 points, while registering a team-leading five goals and two assists. Kadima sits second with eight points after finding the back of the net three rimes and recording two assists this year. Logan Gilley, Victor Koah, and Kelvin Ramirez are all tied for third on the team with four points.
SCOUTING THE JAGUARS
IUPUI comes to Moon Township currently sitting tied for second with 15 points in the standings. They come in with a 5-5-6 overall record behind a 4-1-3 mark in conference play after securing a 3-1 win over Purdue Fort Wayne last Saturday.
It will be the second meeting between these two programs as Robert Morris recorded a 1-0 win in Indiana. Bryon Akongo recorded the game-winner for the Colonials in the 58th minute, assisted by Lucas Shearer.
The Jaguars are led by a duo who pace the conference in points, in Josemir Gomez and Lukas Hackaa. Gomez leads the Horizon League with 21 points and nine goals, while Hackaa sits tied for second with 19 points and tied for fourth with six goals. Gomez has scored in four of the last five contests and Hackaa has found the back of the net in three of the last five.
