PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Robert Morris men's and women's lacrosse teams would like to invite you to Party on the Plaza! 

Come out to the Joe on Saturday, April 9 for a day of tailgating, live music, great food and drinks and an action-packed day of lacrosse as the RMU women take on Kent State at noon before the men face-off against Bellarmine at 3:00 p.m. 

The afternoon will also feature a special recognition ceremony for both teams. A championship ring presentation for the RMU women's team to honor their 2021 MAC Championship and undefeated season will commence with a special on-field ceremony after the conclusion of their game against the Golden Flashes, while the tenth anniversary of the 2012 NEC Champion men's squad will be recognized at halftime of their game against the Knights. 

The day-long celebration of all things Colonials lacrosse kicks off at 11 a.m. with a beer garden and live DJ set up on the plaza outside Joe Walton Stadium, and will also feature specialty concessions such as the Whiskey Bacon Burger, Hot Link Sandwich, Fried Pickle Chips, Mac n Cheese Short Rib Bowl, and Nacho Grande as well as a wide selection of beer options including Coors Light, Blue Moon, Sam Adams and New Holland. The DJ will play pregame for both games and during intermissions.
