LAST TIME OUT
The Colonials captured their first win of the season in come-from-behind fashion on Saturday, collecting a 2-1 victory over Northern Kentucky to start Horizon League play 1-0.
RMU got on the board in the 59', with junior forward
Hugo Kadima worked his way into the box and received a feed from the near sideline from junior forward
Chase Gilley. Kadima corralled the ball and sent it past NKU goalkeeper.
The winning tally came at 77:33-mark, when senior
Kelvin Ramirez found the back of the net after a flurry of activity. Junior forward
Logan Gilley was active on the near sideline and punched one into the box, with freshman
Victor Koah serving it up to Ramirez, who converted the golden goal.
TEAM LEADERS
Three different Colonials have tallied a goal this season as juniors
Logan Gilley,
Hugo Kadima, and
Kelvin Ramirez have all found the back of the net.
After being named Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, junior
Chase Gilley paces Robert Morris with two assists, while starting in all four contests. Gilley has played over 280 minutes this season and has recorded three shots on goal. Junior
Preston Rushmore and Koah have each collected an assist for the Colonials this season.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Friedrich Petrelli has started in all four matches for RMU and has collected nine saves on 35 shots faced. Petrelli currently has 1.75 goals against average (GAA) and a .563 save percentage through four contests.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
The Panthers were picked to finish third in the Horizon League preseason poll as they come into Saturdays match with a 1-3-2 overall record. Milwaukee is coming off of back-to-back 1-1 draws against Drake and Western Illinois.
This will be the fourth meeting between these two programs as the Panthers hold a 3-0 record over the Colonials. Milwaukee won the regular season matchup in Moon Township a season ago, before knocking off Robert Morris in the conference tournament later that year.
Junior Abdu Regassa and sophomore Gabe Anguil pace the Panthers with five points, while Anguil sits third in the Horizon League with three assists. Regassa and sophomore Logan Farrington each have two goals this season as Anguil and redshirt sophomore David Cox have found the back of the net once.
