The All-Time Series (Youngstown State) – Since the year of 1996, the Colonials and Penguins have played one another 25 times. RMU owns the edge in the series with an overall record of 14-10-1. The first meeting in 1996 was at home. RMU won the match, 3-0. From 2000 to 2008, the Colonials went on a nine-game unbeaten streak, posting an 8-0-1 record against the Penguins. RMU's most recent win came in the 2001 season, winning 1-0 at home. Senior Haleigh Finale scored the game-winning goal in overtime. Overall, the Colonials have outscored the opposing program, 47-29 and have earned 10 clean sheets.

PROGRAM HISTORY
Throughout this season, the Colonials have reached new heights, broke program records and are closing in on breaking more records.
  • Scoring 33 goals this season is the third most in a campaign for the Colonials. Back in 1998, RMU totaled 36 goals in one year.
  • 10 wins on the year has tied their second-most wins ever in a season. Back in 2015, the team had a 10-11-0 overall record. With a win at YSU, the Colonials will tie their program-best 11 wins that they achieved back in 2011. That year's team was 11-8-1 overall.
  • Scoring seven goals and seven assists, reaching 21 points on the year, sophomore Renae Mohrbacher is ranked second in the Horizon League in points. Her 21 points are tied sixth best in program history. Katie Dugan back in 2002 owns the program record of 33 points (14g, 5a) in one season.
  • Mohrbacher's seven assists are the second most ever recorded in one season in RMU history. Angela Story, also a member of the 2002 squad, dished out eight assists. Midfielder Elisa Corvalan is right behind them with six assists this season.
  • Earlier in the year, Malia Kearns put on a clinic against Wright State, scoring four goals, leading her team to a 4-2 victory. Her four goals and eight points are a program record.
  • Since entering the Horizon League in 2020, under head coach Chris Shaw, the program reached four wins in conference play this season, a new program record.
  • Also, being awarded a Player of the Week on four separate occasions is the most in one season since becoming a member of the Horizon League.
