The All-Time Series vs. Bowling Green – Overall, these two programs have played one another seven times. RMU has earned one win against the Falcons and one tie. The Colonials win came in the 2018-19 season, winning 3-2 in Moon Township.

Scouting the Falcons – This past season, Bowling Green finished 15-19-2 overall and were 12-12-2 in conference games. Making it to the first round (quarterfinals) against Ferris State, the Falcons lost the first two games in overtime to the opposing team during the best-of-three series. Statistically, Austen Swankler as a sophomore was the team's leading goal scorer and point producer (19-25-44). Chase Gresock (11-20-31) and Ryan O'Hara (11-19-30) both eclipsed 30 points as well on the year. In goal, the Falcons played four different goalies throughout the season. Mainly playing the bulk of the schedule, Christian Stoever played in 31 games, making 914 saves and won 11 games. He owned a .914 save percentage and had a 2.86 GAA. Tomorrow's game will also be Bowling Green's first match of the new season.

SCHOOLEY FROM THE START
Coaching in his 18th season at RMU, head coach Derek Schooley has been the head of the program since the inaugural season back in 2004-05. After coaching for almost two decades for the Colonials, he's amassed 275 wins. Along the journey, Schooley led the 2015 and 2016 teams to an AHA Regular Season Championship. And, in 2014, the program won the AHA Playoff Tournament and qualified for the NCAA Tournament that season.

VETERAN PRESENCE FROM VELTRI
Joining RMU for his graduate season of collegiate hockey, goaltender Chad Veltri comes to Moon Township after four successful seasons playing for Niagara. Among active career goaltending leaders, Veltri is third in games played with 96. He's ranked second in saves with 2,526 over the past four years and currently third in wins with 41.

Several veterans transferred to RMU to create a solid dichotomy on the roster, featuring many young and older players. With 16 freshmen, the team holds the most first-year players out of all NCAA schools and while having nine graduate students, the Colonials hold the most fifth-year players in Division I. On average, the Colonials are the third oldest team across the country, with an average age of 22.9.
