Delaware (6-3, 0-0 CAA) picked up its first-ever victory over a Big East team in its 87-80 victory over Xavier on December 5. The Blue Hens are 3-1 on the road this season.

RMU and Delaware began the series in 2008 and had a home-and-home in 2013 and 2014. In the three matchups, each team has held home court, with RMU leading the series 2-1.
