The All-Time Series (St. Bonaventure) – RMU will be looking for their first win against the Bonnies tomorrow. The last time the Colonials hosted St. Bonaventure at home was in 2014. The game finished in a 0-0 tie.
Â
Scouting the Bonnies – So far in 2023, St. Bonaventure owns a 1-1-3 overall record. They tied Eastern Michigan, Marist and Horizon League member Detroit Mercy. Their one loss came to another Horizon League member, being Cleveland State, and their one win was the last game against Niagara University. Two players for the Bonnies have scored the majority of their goals as forward Olivia Allen has two goals and two assists. Sophomore Ami Komori owns three goals through five games. Four different players on their roster have one assist each. In net, Chiara Gottinger has played in four games, making 21 saves and earning one win.
Â
UNDEFEATED START
After the Colonials beat the Sycamores of Indiana State earlier in the week, the program officially for the first time began their season with five consecutive victories. Adding more wins on top of the win streak will increase the record for RMU. Back in 1999, the program won five games in a row early in the season. A win against St. Bonaventure will equal six wins in a row, eclipsing the program's previous best.
Â
NCAA NDUKA
Lidia Nduka's name is right near the top of the NCAA leaderboards. The German native is ranked second in the country in goals and game-winning goals. Through five games in 2023, Nduka has scored in all of them, totaling six goals on the year. She scored the game-winner against Hampton and Indiana State.
