MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU men's soccer team is set to host Detroit Mercy for their final home match of the regular season on Friday, November 1, with kickoff at 3:00 PM. The game will stream live on ESPN+, featuring commentary from Spencer Witt.
RMU LATELY
The Colonials (7-5-2, 4-2-1 #HLMSOC) come into the matchup following a 3-2 conference loss at Oakland.
John Paul Mbuthia scored his fifth goal of the season, while Kosi Udea added his third with a well-placed header.

PLAYOFF POSITIONING
RMU can secure a playoff berth with a win or a tie on Friday. A victory combined with a Green Bay loss would give the Colonials a first-round bye in the Horizon League playoffs.

SCOUTING DETROIT MERCY
Detroit Mercy (3-9-3, 2-2-3 #HLMSOC) is coming off a 2-0 conference win over Wright State. The Titans are still in the hunt for a playoff spot and can qualify with a win if Cleveland State and Wright State tie, IU Indy loses or ties, and NKU loses or ties. Junior forward Guershom Sylvain leads the Titans with six goals, while sophomore Drew Pierson has recorded a team-high five assists. Detroit Mercy has rotated between three goalkeepers this season.
