RMU LATELY
RMU is coming off an impressive 86-76 victory at Cornell on November 21, handing the Big Red its first nonconference loss in 20 games.
Alvaro Folgueiras recorded a double-double of a career-tying 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Colonials.
CANISIUS LATELY
Canisius remained winless on the year after dropping an 83-76 decision to Brown on November 23. Wednesday marks the Golden Griffins fifth road trip this season, totaling over 6,200 miles logged.
RMU AND CANISIUS HISTORY
RMU and Canisius began playing in 1981 have met a total of nine times, with the Colonials holding a 6-4 edge. The series has taken place in four different venues across three states.
RMU AND CANISIUS LAST TIME OUT
RMU's late comeback came up short on December 6, 2023 at the Koessler Athletic Center. Down five points, the Griffins committed a turnover on the in-bounds pass 28.1 seconds left, but RMU had two consecutive empty possessions as Canisius made four free throws down the stretch. Siem Uijtendaal, who now plays for Youngstown State, led all players with 24 points.
