MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – After recording 21 points and adding career-highs of 19 rebounds and six assists in RMU's 97-93 triple overtime victory over Northern Kentucky,
Alvaro Folgueiras has been named Horizon League Player of the Week.
Currently, Folgueiras is nationally ranked in the following categories:
- 2nd with 160 total rebounds
- 3rd with 8.57 defensive rebounds per game
- 6th with 11.4 rebounds per game
- 6th with seven double-doubles
RMU hits the road for a pair of games in Michigan when they travel to Detroit Mercy on January 2 and Oakland on January 4. They return to the UPMC Events Center to host Cleveland State on January 8 and Wright State on January 12.
