RMU LATELY
RMU (10-17, 6-10 HL) fell to Wright State 101-71 February 17. Markeese Hastings is 10^th in the HL with 15.5 points per game. He is second in the league with 8.2 rebounds per contest and fourth with a 53.5 shooting percentage. The Colonials are 7-6 at home this season.
 
OAKLAND LATELY
Oakland (18-10, 13-4 HL), coming off a 107-59 win over IUPUI, has won three straight games and six of its seven. The Grizzlies currently sit alone in first place, half a game ahead of Green Bay. Trey Townsend leads the HL with 35.5 minutes per game, is sixth in the league in scoring (16.5 ppg) and fourth in rebounds (7.1 rpg). Jack Gohlke leads the HL with 3.5 3-pointers per game and is second with a 36.1 3-point shooting percentage. OU is 8-7 on the road this season.
 
RMU AND OAKLAND HISTORY
RMU and Oakland first met in 2001 at the Sewall Center. The teams played three more nonconference games before RMU joined the Horizon League. In HL contests, Oakland leads 5-2 and 9-2 overall.
 
RMU AND OAKLAND LAST TIME OUT
Blake Lampman scored 20 of his game-high 26 points in the 1st half in Oakland's 87-72 victory over RMU on Feb. 1. Markeese Hastings recorded his seventh double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Justice Williams had a team-high 18 points, Stephaun Walker added 12 and Jackson Last had 11 off the bench.
 
UP NEXT
RMU remains at the UPMC Events Center for the next two contests. The Colonials will honor Markeese Hastings, Jackson Last and Josh Corbin Sunday, February 25 for Senior Day against Cleveland State. The homestand wraps up Wednesday,  February 28 when Northern Kentucky comes to town.
