BOSTON, Mass. – The Robert Morris University women's hockey team duo of freshmen Alaina Giampietro and Maggie Hatch earned CHA postseason accolades, announced by the league office, Wednesday afternoon.
 
From Strongsville, Ohio, Giampietro was named to the All-Rookie Team and was also tabbed to the All-CHA Second Team.
 
The first-year forward is no stranger to awards as she's been named the conference's Rookie of the Week on four occasions, Rookie of the Month in October and also tabbed the Hockey Commissioners Association's Rookie of the Month back in October.
 
Among freshmen in the NCAA, Giampietro owns the third-most goals (17) which ranks first among first-year skaters in the conference. Through her first campaign, she's produced seven multipoint efforts and 27 total points (17-10—27). 
 
From Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Maggie Hatch was the netminder selected to the All-Rookie Team.
 
In her first year of collegiate hockey, she's also gathered several awards from the conference. She's been named CHA Goalie of the Week once and was named the Goaltender of the Month back in October of 2023.
 
She's posted a .921 save percentage this season and ranks No. 2 in the CHA in saves per game at 33.73. Throughout her freshman season, she's compiled 15, 30+ save performances and seven, 40+ save efforts including a career-high 50 saves vs. Minnesota State (11/25/23).
