MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU men's lacrosse team will host Canisius in its home opener at Joe Walton Stadium. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
 
RMU LATELY
RMU (1-1) is coming off a 11-6 victory at St. Bonaventure February 20. David Burr had a career day, scoring seven goals. Elliot Holden recorded a hat trick and added three assists. Nate Fechter faced 31 shots and made 12 saves.
 
CANISIUS LATELY
The Golden Griffins (1-2) are coming a 13-9 setback against Hobart February 20. Jackson Webster leads Canisius with 10 points. The Griffins are 1-2 on the road this season.
 
COMMON OPPONENTS
The teams have three common opponents in Cleveland State, Hobart and St. Bonaventure. Canisius opened its season at Michigan, which was one of RMU's exhibition matches.
