MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU men's lacrosse team continues its ASUN schedule when it hosts Mercer on Saturday morning at Joe Walton Stadium. Opening faceoff is at 11 a.m.
RMU LATELY
RMU (2-6, 1-2 ASUN) is coming off a 13-6 setback at Cleveland State on March 23.
Elliot Holden is tied for the ASUN lead with 14 assists and is tied for third with 29 points.
David Burr is tied for fourth with 16 goals. The Colonials are 1-1 at Joe Walton Stadium this season.
MERCER LATELY
Mercer (2-6, 1-2 ASUN) has dropped its last two contests – 8-7 vs. Jacksonville and 17-9 at Bellarmine. Chase Cope leads MU with 11 goals. The Bears are 1-2 on the road this season.
RMU AND MERCER HISTORY
RMU leads the series 2-1. The Colonials took the inaugural match 11-10 in overtime on March 8, 2016. RMU was a 13-11 winner on March 5, 2022. Mercer's lone win was last season's match.

Mercer scored two 4
th quarter goals in a span of 41 seconds to break a 7-7 tie in its 9-8 victory over RMU on April 1, 2023.

The teams do not have any common opponents other than its eight ASUN adversaries.
YOUTH DAY
Saturday's match is RMU's Youth Day as all youth lacrosse players are invited for post-match autographs. Following the men's match, the RMU women's team plays Detroit Mercy at 2 p.m.

RMU travels to Salt Lake City to face Utah on April 5 and stays on the road for a midweek match at Bellarmine on April 10. The Colonials return to Joe Walton Stadium on April 13 for a matinee contest against Queens on April 13.
