MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU men's lacrosse team returns to Joe Walton Stadium on Saturday morning to host Queens. Faceoff is scheduled for 11 a.m.
 
CELEBRATING 20 YEARS
Both the men's and women's teams will be celebrating their 20^th season as a varsity sport beginning at 10:30 a.m. with the Party on the Plaza. The women's match against Youngstown State begins at 3 p.m.
 
RMU LATELY
RMU (3-8, 2-4 ASUN) is coming off a 15-12 setback at Bellarmine on April 10. The Colonials are tied for sixth place with Detroit Mercy in the ASUN standings. RMU owns the tie-breaker over the Titans via its 13-12 overtime victory on March 20. David Burr is tied for fourth in the ASUN with 26 goals and second with 83 shots. Elliot Holden is tied for first in the league with 20 assists and fifth with 39 points. James Leary is second in the ASUN with 20 caused turnovers.
 
QUEENS LATELY
Queens (2-8, 1-5 ASUN) has lost four straight dating back to March 23 including a 12-7 defeat at Cleveland State on Wednesday. The Royals are in their second season at the Division I level after competing at the Division II level the previous 19 seasons. Brendan Nice leads the Royals with 15 goals and 21 points. Ryan McDaniel has a team-best seven assists. Wesley Wheat had a GAA of 11.30.
 
RMU AND QUEENS HISTORY
In their only matchup, RMU defeated Queens 14-10 on April 15, 2023.
 
RMU AND QUEENS LAST TIME OUT
RMU used a six-goal second quarter to propel them to a 14-10 victory over Queens on April 15, 2023 at Dickson Field. Elliot Holden and David Burr each recorded hat tricks. Holden added three assists in the victory.

UP NEXT
The Colonials play their final road contest of the year when that travel to Lindenwood on April 20. They return to Joe Walton Stadium on April 27 for a noon contest against Air Force to wrap up the regular season. This will also be RMU's Senior Day.
