MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – A pair of former RMU Men's Basketball players have signed professional contracts in Europe.
 
Kahliel Spear has signed with Valmiera Glass/Vidzemes Augstskola of the Latvian Basketball League. Spear, who scored 1,159 points in his three seasons at RMU (2020-23), also played for Chusi in Italy and Horsens IC in Denmark during the 2023-24 season.
 
Markeese Hastings has inked a deal in Israel with Bnei Kfar Qasem in Israel's National League. In his lone season at RMU (2023-24), Hastings averaged 14.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.
