Erica Razzano Named RMU Associate AD for Compliance

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - RMU Vice President and Director of Athletics Chris King has announced that Erica Razzano will be the athletic department's Associate AD for Compliance.

Razzano will be elevated to this position after serving as the Administrative Services Coordinator since March 2023.

Prior to RMU,  Razzano worked in the compliance departments at the Mid-American Conference, TCU and Akron.

A 2010 RMU graduate, Razzano was a standout pole vaulter for the Colonials. She won three Northeast Conference gold medals and graduated with the RMU school record for both the indoor and outdoor pole vault records.

"I am ecstatic about this opportunity to serve as the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and wanted to thank Chris King for his confidence in my abilities," said Razzano. "I am truly humbled and honored to be able to serve the student-athletes, coaches and staff at such a prestigious institution. Robert Morris is a special place and as an alumni and former women's track and field student-athlete, I look forward to working with and helping the RMU coaches, staff, student-athletes and alumni continue their success in the classroom, on the field and in the community."

"The Department of Athletics Associate AD for Compliance role is of vital importance to our university and we are thrilled to promote Erica, as we look to develop a model compliance and NIL program within this ever-changing and dynamic collegiate landscape," said King. "Erica's prior compliance experience at organizations such as TCU, Akron and the Mid-American Conference made her the perfect fit for this role, as her promotion is a recognition of her tremendous impact as an administrator and campus partner the past several years.  She has built trusting relationships with coaches, staff and student-athletes, and most importantly, Erica understands what it means to be a Colonial as a former RMU women's track & field student-athlete."

A Pittsburgh native, Razzano and her husband Dom live in Harmony, Pa. with their sons Domenick, Alessio and Santino.
