RMU LATELY
RMU (4-7-4, 2-3-3 #HLWSOC) enters this week after a close loss to Oakland, falling 3-2. Junior
Ava Trethewey continued her dominance up front, scoring both goals for the Colonials. Senior forward
Paloma Swankler earned an assist on Trethewey's first.
Over 15 games now, Trethewey leads the team in goals (8) and points (18).
Jillian Marvin,
Ivy Chaskelson and Swankler each have three assists.
Shauna Gamble leads the team in minutes played with 1,349. In goal,
Emma Cameron has played in 13 games, earning four wins and four clean sheets with a .767 save percentage.
ALL-TIME VS. WRIGHT STATE
RMU is 4-4 against the Raiders. The Colonials have been on a roll against the opposing program lately, winning three straight. Three years ago,
Malia Kearns broke the program record for goals in a game with four against the raiders in Moon Township. Then in the playoffs in 2023, the Colonials won 4-1 with goals by Gamble,l and Swankler. Last season, RMU won 2-1 with
Taylor Day and Swankler each finding the back of the net.
SCOUTING THE RAIDERS
WSU (6-6-4, 3-1-4 #HLWSOC) is coming off a 2-2 tie against Milwaukee.
Offensively, Samara Nunn leads the team with three goals and four assists. In net, Kiera Sarka has been the main starter, earning four wins and three clean sheets with a .753 save percentage.
