MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's soccer team is set for a two-game road swing in Indiana this week, visiting IU Indy and Purdue Fort Wayne in Horizon League action. The Colonials will face the Jaguars on Thursday, October 9 at 7:00 PM in Indianapolis, Ind., followed by a Sunday matchup against the Mastodons on October 12 at 1:00 PM in Fort Wayne, Ind. Both contests will stream live on ESPN+.
RMU LATELY
RMU (3-6-2, 1-2-1 #HLWSOC) looks to rebound this week after falling 4-0 at Northern Kentucky. In conference play, the Colonials have earned a win over Detroit Mercy, drawn with Green Bay, and dropped matches to Milwaukee and NKU.

ALL-TIME VS. IU INDY
Since joining the Horizon League, RMU holds a 1-2-2 record against IU Indy. The teams met twice last season — a 1-1 draw during the regular season in Moon Township (Swankler scored, assisted by Trethewey) and again in the Horizon League Quarterfinals, where Jillian Mavin netted a golden goal in overtime to send the Colonials to the semifinals.
SCOUTING THE JAGUARS
IU Indy (3-8-1, 2-2-0 #HLWSOC) enters Thursday's contest on a two-game winning streak, earning shutouts over Detroit Mercy and Cleveland State. Prior to that, the Jaguars dropped their first two league games to Northern Kentucky and Wright State.
Offensively, 11 different Jaguars have scored this season, with sophomore defender Keilah Muldrow leading the team in both goals (2) and points (6). Junior forward Caroline Kelley paces the squad with three assists, while senior midfielder Emma Frey has played every minute (1,080) across 12 matches. Graduate goalkeeper Sarah Bambrick has started 10 games, collecting two wins, one shutout, and 31 saves.
ALL-TIME VS. PURDUE FORT WAYNE
Sunday marks the ninth all-time meeting between RMU and Purdue Fort Wayne, with the Colonials holding a 2-5-1 record in the series. Last season, RMU earned a 2-0 victory in Moon Township behind goals from
Ava Trethewey, with assists from Swankler and Mavin.
SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
Purdue Fort Wayne (1-10-1, 0-4-0 #HLWSOC) continues to search for its first conference win of the season after recent losses to Oakland, Green Bay, Milwaukee, and Wright State. The Mastodons' lone victory came against NAIA opponent Indiana Tech.
Junior forward Morgan Gallagher leads PFW in goals (2), assists (3), and points (7), while freshman Bella Masse has added two goals. Junior defender Emersyn Geik has played a team-high 869 minutes. Graduate goalkeeper Jordan Imes has started all 12 games, tallying 59 saves, two clean sheets, and one win.
