MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - For the first time since 2013, a pair of former NEC rivals will face off. On Sunday, Robert Morris (3-2) will travel to West Long Branch, N.J. to take on Monmouth (1-3). Note the tipoff time is now at 3 p.m.
 
RMU LATELY
The Colonials are coming off a 75-61 loss at St. Bonaventure on Thursday, ending their three-game winning streak.
 
MONMOUTH LATELY        
The Hawks are coming off a 78-73 loss at Syracuse on Tuesday, extending their losing streak to three games. Monmouth also lost to La Salle and Seton Hall.
 
RMU AND MONMOUTH HISTORY  
The series began in 1986 and was played every year until 2013 when Monmouth left the NEC for the MAAC. Although the Hawks lead the all-time series 31-27, RMU has won the last nine contests.
 
RMU AND MONMOUTH LAST TIME OUT     
RMU led wire-to-wire in its 77-65 victory over Monmouth on February 21, 2013 at Sewall Center. Russell Johnson had 20 points and Lucky Jones added 19 in the win.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Colonials return to Moon Township for the next three games beginning with UIC on Wednesday, November 26. They will host Southern Utah on Friday, November 28 and Stetson on Sunday, November 30 as part of the Urban-Bennett Invitational. All three games have a 2 p.m. tipoff time.
