MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Robert Morris returns to Moon Township to host Geneva at the UPMC Events Center in its 50th all-time season opener. The game follows a notable 81-79 overtime victory at Drake, a win that ended the Bulldogs' long-standing 49-game nonconference home winning streak that dated back to 2016. For Geneva, a Division III school, the contest is an exhibition only.
 
ABOUT RMU
RMU began the season with a tough 101-69 road loss at Iowa, but quickly rebounded with a signature 81-79 overtime victory at Drake. Through the first two contests, Nikolaos Chitikoudis has established himself as the team's top rebounder and a key scoring threat, highlighted by his 18-point, 10-rebound double-double in the Drake victory. Joining him among the early scoring leaders are Ryan Prather Jr. and DeSean Goode, who put up 12 points and 13 points, respectively, in the overtime victory at Drake.
 
ABOUT GENEVA
Geneva is coming off a 14-12 season and saw the graduation of its top three scorers. The Golden Tornadoes are an upperclassmen-heavy squad with five juniors and five seniors.
 
RMU AND GENEVA HISTORY          
RMU erupted for 62 points in the second half—the most in a half under Coach Andy Toole—and featured six players in double figures, including double-doubles from AJ Bramah (16 points, 11 rebounds) and Yannis Mendy (15 points, 11 rebounds) earning its first win at the UPMC Events Center with a dominant 102-62 victory over Geneva on November 27, 2019.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Colonials remain at home to host Pitt Greensburg on Thursday, November 13 before hitting the road for a pair of games at St. Bonaventure on Thursday, November 20 and Monmouth on Sunday, November 23.
