MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Robert Morris University Football Head Coach
Bernard Clark, Jr., in conjunction with the Northeast Conference, has announced the team's 2025 football schedule.
The schedule features five Saturday home games at Joe Walton Stadium, including three NEC matchups and two nonconference contests. The Colonials' home opener is set for September 13 at 6 p.m. against West Liberty, followed by a game against longtime rival Dayton on September 20. RMU will also host defending NEC champion Central Connecticut State on October 11, Wagner on November 8, and will then conclude the regular season against Duquesne on November 22.
On the road, RMU opens the season at West Virginia on August 30, followed by a trip to Youngstown State on September 6. The Colonials will also face Merrimack on October 4, LIU on October 18, Saint Francis on October 25, and Mercyhurst on November 15.
Complete kickoff times, as well as season and individual game ticket information, will be announced at a later date.
Schedule notes:
- West Virginia is a first-time opponent and marks RMU's first-ever game against a Big 12 team.
- WVU is the Colonials' sixth FBS opponent, following Air Force, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Miami (OH), and Utah State
- West Liberty is also a first-time opponent
- RMU will face Dayton for the first time since 2022 and Youngstown State for the first time since 2023
- Duquesne will visit Joe Walton Stadium for the first time since 2019
