RMU Men’s Lacrosse Travels to Nationally Ranked Penn State

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU Men's Lacrosse team continues its roadtrip on Wednesday when it faces Penn State at Penzer Stadium. Faceoff is 4 p.m. The Nittany Lions are ranked #4 by Inside Lacrosse, #5 by USILA and #3 by USA Lacrosse.  
 
RMU LATELY
The Colonials (3-3) fell 13-10 at Bellarmine on March 8. RMU is looking for its first road victory of the season.
 
PENN STATE LATELY
The Nittany Lions (5-1) are coming off a 13-12 overtime victory at #3 Cornell on March 8. The only blemish on PSU's record is a 11-10 overtime loss against #8 Princeton. Penn State is 2-1 at home this season.
 
RMU AND PENN STATE HISTORY
The teams have met seven times with Penn State holding a 4-3 advantage. The series began in 2008 and Wednesday's match marks the first time they have played each other since 2019.
 
RMU AND PENN STATE LAST TIME OUT
Ninth ranked Penn State took a commanding 18-3 halftime lead and turned it into a 27-10 victory on February 10, 2019. The teams combined for 101 shots (PSU 51, RMU 50) and 64 ground balls.
