Box Score UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – After keeping the match close in the 1
st quarter, #4/5 Penn State pulled away in the 2
nd quarter in its 22-8 victory over RMU on Wednesday afternoon.
1st QUARTER
After Penn State took the opening draw in for a goal, the Colonials answered on
Calum Brennan's 14
th goal of the year. The Nittany Lions would score the next two goals before three straight from
Will MacLeod, Brennan and
Bobby Reaume put RMU ahead 4-3. PSU would add two more goals to take a 6-4 lead after the first quarter of play
2nd QUARTER
PSU kept RMU off the scoreboard and scored six times to take a 12-4 lead into halftime
3rd QUARTER
Kean Moon and Brennan found the back of the net in the third period for RMU, but PSU expended its lead to 17-6.
4th QUARTER
Luke Prezioso and
Joel McCormick scored for RMU in the fourth quarter.
