QUOTABLE
Head coach
Jexx Varner praised his team's effort, noting the tone was set early by DeVault's dominant outing. "Madison was absolutely dominant in the circle today. Easily one of the best games she's thrown in her career, and it truly set the tone for the day and the trip," Varner said. "Coleman followed it up with a very good game in game two."
Varner also acknowledged the team's offensive production. "Our offense started each game strong but also had stretches where we needed to find our discipline and make adjustments. When we did, we showed what this offense can do and tacked on very important runs in the seventh inning."
Reflecting on the sweep, Varner said, "It was a good day on the field. It's great to keep this momentum going, but the job's not done yet. We've got one more tomorrow to wrap up a very productive spring break."
