MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU Men's Lacrosse team looks for its fourth straight victory when it visits Bellarmine on Saturday afternoon. The match has a noon faceoff.
RMU LATELY
Calum Brennan scored a career-high six goals and
David Burr recorded a hat trick and set up four more tallies while
Nate Fechter made a career-best 23 saves in RMU's 17-7 victory over Hobart on March 1.
BELLARMINE LATELY
Bellarmine (3-5) has dropped its last two matches 15-9 at LIU and 19-11 at Marquette. Junior John Alie is tied for first in the NCAA with 40 points and is 11th in the nation averaging 5.0 points per match.
RMU AND BELLARMINE HISTORY
The teams have met every year but 2007 and 2020 since the formation of the RMU Men's Lacrosse program. In the 18 matches, the series is tied 9-9, with the Knights holding a 6-2 advantage in Louisville. The teams were ASUN conference foes from 2022 until last season with Bellarmine winning two of those matchups.
RMU AND BELLARMINE LAST TIME OUT
Bellarmine scored nine consecutive goals to turn a four-goal deficit into a five-goal lead in its 15-12 victory on April 10, 2024.

RMU and Bellarmine each play Canisius, Cleveland State, Detroit Mercy, LIU, Mercyhurst and St. Bonaventure.

Calum Brennan is the Player of the Week by the league on Monday. This was the second consecutive DPOW honor for Fechter, who is 11th nationally with 13.8 saves per match and 19th with a.570 save percentage.
