QUOTABLE
"I'm incredibly proud of this group," said Head Coach
Jexx Varner. "We were 4-9 at one point and lost 12 games because of weather or cancellations. To go 26-7 and get to an NCAA Tournament for the first time in 20 years is incredible. We set nearly every offensive record in the book."
"Our senior class put in a ton of work to get here. We thank our alumni and seniors that came before us," said senior
Logan Black. "We had transfers and freshmen that came up huge for us, and it was my first year behind the plate. It all fell under the leadership of our captains, who were our rock this year."
"I chose RMU because of the people," said senior
Alaina Koutsogiani. "We have become so close. These girls are like my sisters – I'd do anything for them, and I think that drove our success."
"Now I get to shout out to the world how amazing this team is and how proud I am of them. What an amazing group of women we have in this program. It was an incredible season," stated Varner.
