INDIANAPOLIS – RMU redshirt senior
Courtney Poulich was named the Horizon League Player of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon. This is her third career weekly honor.
Poulich helped lead the Colonials to a 3-2 week, which included two wins at the Catamount Classic and a 12-3 victory over Pitt Tuesday night.
Across five games, she hit three home runs and produced 10 RBI while going 9-for-20 at the plate for a .450 batting average and a .478 on-base percentage.
Against Pitt, Poulich recorded the sixth two-home-run game of her career. The Greensburg, Pa. native also drove in six runs in the contest, marking the fifth time in her career she has produced five or more RBI in a single game. She has now tallied 26 multi-RBI performances during her career.
During the week, Poulich also added two doubles and posted a 1.000 slugging percentage.
