PITTSBURGH- The RMU women's track and field team opened up the 2026 outdoor season with two top-five finishes on day one of the CMU Invitational.
 
CMU INVITATIONAL
On the day, the Colonials picked up two top-five finishes in field events at the CMU Invitational. In the pole vault, freshman Kara Fennell picked up RMU's highest finish of the afternoon, finishing fourth with a mark of 3.71, which now ranks second-best in RMU history. Maizee Fry was the other Colonial to secure a top-five finish, finishing fifth in the shot put with a throw of 12.54.
