PORTSVILLE, Pa. – The RMU women's rowing team competed in a scrimmage against Duquesne on Friday morning at Lake Arthur in Moraine State Park.
On the day, the Colonials did 4 x 5-minute pieces along with 3 x 90-second pieces with a racing start to prepare for the rest of the season.
QUOTABLES – Head Coach Rob Weber
"Our time on the water has been very limited the past two weeks due to weather and river conditions, so we wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to line up next to someone, which I think we did. We were able to test some different combinations, which gave us some valuable information, and I think our best Varsity 8 lineup was able to compete very well with Duquesne's top crews. With such a young crew, it's an encouraging indication for the rest of the season!"
