BOSTON – The RMU women's hockey team will compete on a national stage at the 2026 Ice Breaker Tournament, held in partnership with the Hockey Commissioners Association and College Hockey Inc. The event will be hosted by Boston University at Walter Brown Arena this fall.

"We're excited to be part of such a premier tournament at Boston University," said head coach Logan Bittle. "This is a unique challenge for our team. It will be a great experience not only for our fans and the RMU community, but also a tremendous opportunity for our student-athletes."

The Colonials will be joined in the four-team field by Minnesota State, Yale and host Boston University, with action scheduled for October 23-24. RMU will open the tournament against Minnesota State on Friday at 4:00 PM, followed by Boston University taking on Yale at 7:00 PM.

The tournament will conclude on Saturday, with the consolation game set for 2:00 PM and the championship game slated for 5:00 PM.
