RMU STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK (Jan. 30,  2008)

Earning the second straight RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the men's indoor track and field team is senior Jeff Witmyer. The native of West Lawn, Pa., takes home the honor after being named the Northeast Conference Field Athlete of the Week, Jan. 30, for his performance in the high jump at the Penn State National Invitational this past weekend. The senior posted a leap of 6'9", eclipsing his season best of 6'8.25" that qualified him for the IC4A / ECAC Championships.
