RMU STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK (May 7,  2008)

Tabbed the RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for May 7, 2008, is freshman Nicole Spellman of the Colonial women's rowing team. A native of Wexford, Pa., Spellman sat in the No. 1 seat and helped anchor a women's novice eight boat that claimed gold at the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Championships May 3 in Fairfax, Va. Robert Morris finished the race with a time of 8:35.2000, over 10 seconds faster than the University of Mary Washington, which finished second with a time of 8:45.7433.
