RMU Student-Athlete of the Week (2/25/09)

Sophomore forward Nathan Longpre of the Robert Morris men's ice hockey team earns his second RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the 2008-09 winter season for Feb. 25, 2009. Longpre was named the College Hockey America Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season after helping the Colonials sweep Alabama-Huntsville last weekend by compiling a pair of goals and a pair of assists. Longpre assisted on the game-winning goal in the second game to help RMU sweep the series. On the 2008-09 campaign the native of Peterborough, Ontario, is tied for the team lead in scoring with 35 points, having posted 10 goals and 25 assists. Longpre is a sport management major.
