RMU Student-Athlete of the Week (4/15/09)

Taking home the latest RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week accolade is junior goalie Erica Webb of the Colonial women's lacrosse team. After her leading her team to a 1-1 ledger last week, including a one-goal loss, the native of Arnold, Md., earned her third NEC Defensive Player of the Week honor in 2009. In a 19-6 win over Central Connecticut State (4/9/09), Webb yielded just a pair of goals in 40 minutes of play while racking up nine saves and a career-best .818 save percentage. Two days later Webb turned back 15 shots in a double overtime loss to Quinnipiac (4/11/09), 12-11. On the week Webb posted a save percentage of .632, which now ranks second in the NEC and seventh in the nation.
