Participating and Non-Participating Student-Athletes
PASS LIST PROCEDURES
The Compliance and Ticket Offices have developed procedures for all sports to ensure that complimentary admissions are issued in accordance with NCAA rules and regulations. Within these directives, hard tickets are never issued to student-athletes or their guests. Instead, all complimentary admissions are granted via a pass list upon presentation of approved photo identification.
Head Coaches (or their designated representative) are responsible for providing the Athletic Ticket Office with a list of the individuals who will attend the event. The list must be delivered to the ticket office 24 hours prior to the scheduled event for which admission will be granted.
Participating Student-Athletes
The Compliance and Ticket Offices have developed procedures for each sport to ensure complimentary admissions are issued in accordance with NCAA rules and regulations. Within these directives, hard tickets are never issued to student-athletes or their guests. Instead, all complimentary admissions are granted via a pass list upon presentation of approved photo identification and signature on the pass list. Student-athletes may receive four (4) complimentary admissions in the the sport in which they participate regardless of whether they compete.
The following steps must be taken to ensure compliance requirements are met:
- Prior to each sport’s home contest, the head coach or designee must forward a list of players on the competing team who are eligible to receive complimentary admissions to the ticket office.
- The master list is then used at the designated location of the event to verify the recipients’ identification and collect signatures prior to issuance of individual passes.
- Each individual on the pass list who provides valid photo identification and signs the pass list will receive a hand stamp which may be used to gain access to the event.
- Upon completion of each game/event, signature forms are filed in the Office of Athletic Compliance. These records may be used to verify compliance with governing authorities’ regulations.
Complimentary Admission Pickup - Football Games
Student-athletes and their guests will receive their complimentary admissions at the ticket kiosk outside Joe Walton Stadium. Opponents’ complimentary admissions will be issued at the left hand side window of the kiosk. Upon checking photo identification and obtaining signatures of all student-athletes and guests, the administration of a hand stamp will occur prior to the individual being provided entrance into the stadium. Admission may be through any ticket gate.
Complimentary Admission Pickup - Basketball and Ice Hockey Games
The complimentary admission locations for other sports will vary. Complimentary admissions for sports that require tickets for entry will be located in the area where tickets are normally sold. The “Will Call” window/gate/desk is the normal entry point for administering and issuing passes and hand stamps.
Non-Participating Student-Athletes
Non-participating student-athletes, like all RMU students, need only show their RMU freedom card to gain admission at any event gate for all RMU athletic events.
NON-PARTICIPATING STUDENT-ATHLETE GUEST TICKETS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE.
